We are one second from....

Heaven.  With the horrific tragedy in Tucson, Az. it  makes me think about how close we all are to death at any minute.  I try to live in the moment and not fret about the past and future.   Enjoy the life I am in now.
Also I take from this event in Tucson that we should be on the lookout for others.  Possible if the 22 year old had received psychotherapy with an ongoing basis he would not have done this unthinkable act.   People with mental disorders are not fully followed up with medical evaluations.  Mainly because of the stigma of people with disorders that  think they do not need treatment.  And others such as family, teachers and friends  think they are just weird or just in a mood and will get over it.  Also it is hard to get adequate payment from insurance companies to cover ongoing therapy and medical interventions.

Or the killer is evil (satan) on earth.

I am surprised how many people carry guns in Arizona.  Over half the people carry guns in Tucson.  This is another problem we are going to have to deal with here in the US.  It is to easy to buy a gun and to many guns already in homes.

My heart and prayers go out to the community of Tucson.  It is a large community with the feel of small hometown.  To the Congresswoman Giffords, a speedy and full recovery, our prayer along with all the others that are suffering from that day.    A prayer for those that lost their lives.  And to the little girl, Christina Green ..my heart breaks for her family and friends.
